Duerio helps users track bills and payments. This policy explains what information Duerio collects, how it is used, and how users can control it.
Information We Collect
- Google account information used for sign-in, such as email address and basic profile details.
- Bill information users add to Duerio, including bill names, due dates, amounts, notes, links, and payment history.
- Optional Gmail message metadata and snippets used to recommend bills when a user grants Gmail access.
How We Use Information
- To authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
- To display, create, update, and track bills and payments.
- To scan recent Gmail messages for bill-like emails and suggest bill entries when the user chooses to use that feature.
- To diagnose errors, maintain the service, and improve reliability.
Google User Data
If a user grants Gmail access, Duerio uses Gmail read access only to search recent messages for possible bill notifications, invoices, statements, due dates, and payment amounts. Duerio does not send emails, modify Gmail messages, delete Gmail messages, or use Gmail data for advertising.
Duerio cannot archive messages, mark messages as read or unread, apply labels, create drafts, send messages, delete messages, or otherwise change a user's Gmail mailbox.
Duerio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Sharing Information
Duerio does not sell personal information. Duerio does not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or protect the security and integrity of the application.
Data Storage and Security
Duerio stores application data in a database. Access tokens and bill data are intended to be protected by server access controls and operational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
User Choices
- Users can disconnect Gmail access from within Duerio where available.
- Users can revoke Duerio's Google access from their Google Account permissions page.
- Users can request deletion of their Duerio account data by contacting the site operator.
